here's the deal, my dad works for a computer company and so for the last 7 years he has provided me with free laptops. theres one catch: the laptops are all at least 5 years old and all glitched and buggy to the point of it being absolutely ridiculous. as i type im wary that this computer will unexpectedly shut down on me, as it constantly does while i work on art, or a project, or play my sims games. countless times.

ANYWAYS i'm sick of this and i want to buy a new laptop! but i'm not the techiest person around. does anybody have any recommendations? mostly i just want something hardy. something that can hold some music and hopefully my sims games (i have sims 2 and i'm excited to get sims 3!), but i don't need extraordinary graphics/sound. i basically just use ms paint to draw, so that's not to worry about. and i like fast machines so i can zip around through the internet.
